Bullying
It is hard to stand by and watch bullies, and sometimes it is difficult to ask yourself and to know what is or is not bullying.
Quite often the actions of a bully can start out just by a joke, or a funny comment or play and being fun. this can very quickly at some point actually turn into bullying.
In situations like this it is best for you to talk to someone and stop and think and ask yourself these few questions:
1. Am I trying to belittle someone or control them ? against his or her will?
Are my actions or words hurting someone else's feelings?
Are my actions or words hurting someone else physically or making that person feel afraid?
Would I want someone else to do this to me?
Am I unfairly taking my anger out on someone?
If you are being bullied remember to keep a diary. And if you are a Bully , remember that someone has a diary.
Bullying is repeated verbal,
physical, social or psychological
aggressive behaviour by a person
or group directed towards a less
powerful person or group that is
intended to cause harm, distress or fear.
